Edward Cooke

Edward Cooke is currently the CEO at Sonic Spheres since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Co-founder at Memrise, a renowned language-learning app, starting in September 2010. At Memrise, Edward played a significant role in helping people learn and communicate in more than 200 language pairs.

Edward Cooke began their education in 2001 at the University of Oxford, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Philosophy. Edward completed their studies at Oxford in 2004. Following this, Cooke attended Université Paris Cité from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a DEA (Diplôme d'études approfondies) in Cognitive Science.

In 2006, Cooke continued their academic journey at Macquarie University, where they focused on the Philosophy of Cricket. Edward pursued a research degree at Macquarie University and completed their studies in 2007.
