Kasia Bania has had a varied work experience since 2013. Kasia began as a Diplomatic Trainee at the Polish Embassy in Beirut in 2013, and has since held roles as a freelance translator for Salesian Missionary Voluntary Service, Transcreation Project Manager at Creative Culture, Language Lead at Lionbridge, Transcreation Account Manager and Senior Transcreation Account Manager at Hogarth Worldwide, and currently serves as a Localisation Manager and Senior Localisation Manager at Memrise. Her roles have included providing line management, client onboarding, localisation project management, budget forecasting, and editing linguistic materials. Kasia has worked on projects targeting HCPs and consumer cross-platform campaigns for clients such as Galderma, Bayer, Novo Nordisk, Nestle, Astor, Cointreau, Johnson&Johnson, L'Oréal Luxe, Maserati, Nokia, Orange, P&G, Rèmy Martin, Sanofi, Sony, and Urban Decay.
Kasia Bania has an extensive education history. From 2008 to 2011, they studied at Jagiellonian University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Arabic Language and Literature. Kasia then attended Krakow School of Jazz and Contemporary Music from 2009 to 2012, where they studied jazz piano. In 2012, they attended both Arabeya Arabic Language Centre and Cairo University, where they obtained a post-advanced degree in Egyptian Colloquial Arabic and studied Arabic Language, respectively. From 2011 to 2013, they also attended Jagiellonian University and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A) in Arabic Language and Literature. Additionally, Kasia Bania has two certifications: The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage, obtained in 2021, and Emergency First Aid Response Level 3.
