Ralf Schoenbrunner

Ralf Schoenbrunner is currently the Chief Global R&D Officer at Menarini Silicon Biosystems since September 2020. Previously, Ralf served as Chief Technology Officer at SCIEX, where responsibilities included establishing technology vision and growth strategies. Ralf held the position of Vice President in Research & Development at PerkinElmer, focusing on diagnostics, and was the Vice President, Global Head of Diagnostics Development at Novartis, leading a team in developing companion diagnostic assays. Earlier roles included Senior Vice President at diaDexus, Vice President at Life Technologies in Medical Sciences and Molecular Diagnostics, and participation as a corporate officer at Acrometrix, overseeing product strategy and R&D. Ralf's career began at Roche Molecular Systems, excelling in the development of complex assays. Ralf holds a Ph.D. in Physical Biochemistry from the University of Bayreuth, along with two Master's degrees from the University of Regensburg and the University of Edinburgh.
