Piyaviraj Ranasinghe

Piyaviraj Ranasinghe is currently serving as the Big Data Technical Lead at Mendix since November 2024, following a role as Senior Software Engineer at Relay42 from August 2022 to November 2024. Prior experience includes positions at Gapstars as a Software Architect, and at Infor where Piyaviraj held the titles of Senior Principal Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer from July 2018 to April 2022. Piyaviraj's earlier career includes various roles at Virtusa from April 2013 to June 2018, culminating in the position of Lead Consultant, along with responsibilities as Senior Consultant Team Lead and Technical Consultant Team Lead. Initial experience as a Software Developer and Trainer was gained at Advance Technology Center from January 2011 to September 2012. Piyaviraj holds a Master's degree in Big Data Analytics from Robert Gordon University, completed in August 2021, and is associated with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
