Michael Gardner has over 30 years of work experience in software engineering and development. Michael is currently working as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Menlo Security Inc., where they focus on real-time threat detection in web isolation, content inspection and document isolation, and analytics visualization and reporting. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Software Engineer at MLG Software, where they designed and developed a cross-platform mobile/cloud app solution for small business forms. Michael has also worked as a Platform Software Architect at Alfresco, leading the development of scalable enterprise file synchronization features. Additionally, Michael has held the role of Chief Software Engineer at MLG Software, providing technology leadership and software delivery for client companies. Michael began their career as a Principal Software Engineer at Oracle Corporation, where they worked on various projects including portlets, portal page server, portal parameters & events, and CASE diagram editors. Before that, they worked as a Team Leader and Developer at Criterion Software, and as a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Throughout their career, Michael has gained expertise in various technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, AngularJS, Node.js, and Agile methodologies.
Michael Gardner attended Durham University from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a BSc degree in Physics. Michael then pursued further education at Middlesex University from 1994 to 1995, obtaining an MSc degree in Computer Graphics.
