Thin Thin has over 14 years of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Thin began their career as an Accountant at Yang Brothers Export & Import Enterprise, where they processed invoices and journals vouchers. Thin then worked as an Accountant at First Top Group Company Ltd, where they managed purchase and sales ledgers and handled inventory control.

Thin Thin then joined Pact as a Senior Internal Auditor, assessing financial statements, compliance, and controls. Thin also served as a Finance Manager at Pact, maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, and checking payment vouchers and travel advances.

Thin Thin later worked at ActionAid as a Finance Coordinator, reviewing project budgets, preparing donor reports, and ensuring financial controls. Thin then became a Finance Manager at ActionAid, managing treasury operations, preparing management reports, and participating in budget preparation.

At MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates), Thin Thin worked as a Coordinator of Finance and Grants, drafting financial policies and procedures and developing financial forms for office use.

Currently, Thin Thin is working at UNDP as a Finance Analyst and the Head of the Finance Unit. Thin'sresponsibilities include implementing operational and financial management strategies, ensuring compliance with UN/UNDP rules and regulations, and overseeing financial recording and reporting systems.

From 1998 to 1999, Thin Thin pursued a Diploma in Accounting from London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Level III) in the UK. The program covered subjects such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Statistics.

In 2000, Thin Thin enrolled at the University of Distance Education Yangon and completed a Bachelor of Business Management (B.M) degree with a focus on Accounting and Business/Management. This program lasted until 2002.

From 2000 to 2001, Thin Thin also obtained a Certificate in Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting from London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Level IV) in the UK.

Lastly, Thin Thin attended ACCA (UK) from 2008 to 2015, specializing in Finance and Financial Management Services. During this period, they completed the ACCA (Professional Stage) degree.
