Kelly Uhland has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Kelly began their career as a Resident Assistant at Monmouth University, where they played a key role in creating a supportive environment for students. Kelly then worked as a Cashier at ShopRite Supermarkets for seven years.
In 2009, Kelly joined Wawa, Inc. as a Shift Manager, where they managed employees and handled inventory ordering and task delegation. Kelly later transitioned to the field of behavioral health, working as a Case Manager at Helping Hand Behavioral Health and Crossroads Behavioral. In these roles, they provided intensive counseling, completed progress notes, and ran recovery groups.
Kelly then joined Collaborative Support Programs of NJ Inc. as a Supported Employment Specialist and later became a Supported Employment Coordinator. In these positions, they maintained employment records, facilitated staff meetings, provided training to new employees, and tracked employment outcomes.
Currently, Kelly is employed at the Mental Health Association in New Jersey as the Assistant Director of Education and Outreach for Consumer Connections. Kelly'sresponsibilities include providing training to individuals interested in joining the Peer Workforce, conducting interviews, organizing records, and maintaining electronic documents.
Throughout their career, Kelly has been recognized for their dedication and excellence, receiving awards such as the "You Are The Star Award" from their peers.
Kelly Uhland has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Stockton University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2010. Kelly then pursued Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling/Counselor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey from 2011 to 2013. In addition, they obtained a Minor in Information Technology from Monmouth University between 2003 and 2006. Kelly also holds an IPS Practitioner Training Certificate from Dartmouth College since 2013.
Furthermore, they have achieved several certifications. In 2014, they became a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner through the US Psychiatric Rehabilitation (USPRA). Later, in 2016, they became a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) Facilitator under the Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery. Kelly further advanced their WRAP facilitation skills by becoming an Advanced Level Copeland Center WRAP Facilitator in 2018. Most recently, in May 2021, they became a Digital Peer Support Master Trainer, although the institution granting this certification is unspecified.
