Dave Williams

Dave Williams is an accomplished communications professional with over two decades of experience in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as the Head of Communications for the Mental Health Commission Ireland since February 2019, Williams previously held the position of Communications Manager at GOAL Global from July 2009 to January 2019. Earlier in the career, Williams worked as a journalist and PR executive across various Irish newspapers, including roles as Sports Editor and Chief Sports Writer, from June 1999 to July 2009. Williams holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Media Communications from Griffith College Dublin and a degree in Accountancy and Human Resource Management from the National College of Ireland.
