Mark Finan

Mark Finan has extensive experience in law and governance, currently serving as Tribunal Chairperson for the Mental Health Commission IRL since November 2022 and as Director and Chair of the Audit Risk Committee at CBM Global Disability Inclusion since September 2021. Finan has been a Director at CBM Ireland since June 2016, contributing to the organization’s mission to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities in impoverished areas. As a barrister at law since October 2005, Finan has also held leadership positions, including Directorship at Edmund Rice International until July 2023, focusing on the rights of marginalized children. Former roles include Lecturer in European Law at Marino Institute of Education and Director at Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company. Finan's educational credentials encompass advanced studies in Data Protection, Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, and International Trade Law from various prestigious institutions, including Dublin City University and the University of Oxford.
