Alex Hu

Alex Hu is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in education, environmental initiatives, and product development. Currently serving in product roles at Mentava since August 2022, Alex also holds the position of Founder and Executive Director at Education For All Foundation, focusing on recruiting volunteer teachers to enhance educational opportunities. As a Climate Project Backer at Wren, Alex contributes to efforts aimed at addressing the climate crisis through global fundraising initiatives. Previous experiences include designing innovative pedagogy at Laureate College and founding WePlate, a dietary app leveraging machine learning for nutritional guidance in college cafeterias. Alex's entrepreneurial journey began with co-founding XiaoK.ai, which aimed to improve learning environments for rural Chinese students, and has been recognized as a TEDx speaker. Alex's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship from Babson College and an OSSD from Appleby College.
