David Olofsson

David Olofsson is a Quality Assurance Engineer at Mentice, a leader in Image-Guided Interventional Therapies, since June 2022, also serving as Safety Representative for the Gothenburg HQ since October 2022. Previously, David worked as an Associate Technical Consultant at Medtronic, where responsibilities included planning and optimization of ICDs and pacemakers at cardiology clinics. Prior experience includes roles as a Healthcare IT Engineer and Biomedical Engineer at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, and as an AI System Engineer at Wiretronic AB, where thesis work involved machine learning and 3D reconstruction. David's early career includes work as a Care Assistant at Tanums Kommun. Education includes a Civ.ing. in Electrical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology, along with subsidiary courses in Physics from the University of Gothenburg.
