George Wilson

George Wilson is an accomplished Mental Health Practitioner currently employed at Mentis Assist since September 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Counselor at the Australian African Foundation for Retention and Opportunity (AAFRO) from July to December 2022, and co-founding Individuals Nspire Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing mental health support services to young individuals, where George also worked as a Counsellor from April 2016 to November 2021. George has diverse professional experience, including roles as a Journalist at Fairfax Media, a Sales Associate at Vodafone, and various marketing and fundraising positions with Creativity Australia and Amnesty International Australia. George holds multiple degrees from Deakin University, including a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) which is currently in progress, a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Professional and Creative Writing and Journalism, alongside a Bachelor of Laws.
