Joe Glavan

Joe Glavan has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Joe began their career as the Director of Operations at Tri-County Maintenance and Cleaning, where they managed day-to-day operations, including recruitment, payroll, and account management. Joe then transitioned to the education sector, working as a Teacher and later as an Assistant Principal at Riverside Local School District. In these roles, they focused on student supervision, discipline, and implementing school board policies. Joe also served as an Adjunct Professor at Lakeland Community College. Joe further advanced their career in education as the Grade 9 Unit Principal at Mentor Public Schools. Most recently, Joe has been working in leadership positions at Mentor Public Schools, first as the Director of the Lake Shore Compact, overseeing career technical education programs, and currently as the Director of Business Partnerships and CTE, where they collaborate with education, government, and business entities to expand career technical education opportunities for students.

Joe Glavan began their education at Kent State University in 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Health Studies. Joe completed their undergraduate studies in 2005. In 2006, Joe enrolled at Lake Erie College and obtained a Masters of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management, General, finishing in 2008.

After completing their MBA, Joe Glavan furthered their education at Cleveland State University from 2014 to 2015. During this time, they attended the Center for Educational Leadership and earned a degree in Inspired Leaders Principal Licensure.
