Elyse Harris

Elyse Harris is an experienced leader in the field of youth development and mentoring, currently serving as the AmeriCorps Program Director at Communities In Schools of Central Texas since July 2024. Since April 2020, Elyse has also worked as a consultant for MENTOR, specializing in curriculum development for the Fidelity Investments’ Invest in My Education program, focusing on BIPOC college youth. Previous roles include program consultant at Higher Achievement, where strategic college trips and staff training were developed, and director of program operations, overseeing comprehensive after-school programs. Elyse's extensive background includes facilitating workshops, managing internship programs, and leading curriculum design initiatives, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving educational opportunities for under-resourced youth. Elyse holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Davidson College.
