Jake Sullivan

Training Delivery Manager at MENTOR

Jake Sullivan (he/they) is the Training Delivery Manager with the MENTOR team. In this role, he is responsible for planning, curating, and delivering training and professional development content for mentoring practitioners, MENTOR Affiliates and other audiences to execute MENTOR’s national training strategy.

Most recently before MENTOR, Jake worked with the National office of Reach Out and Read, an early childhood literacy nonprofit, also on the programs team. Prior to that, he served in various roles in both direct-service youth work, and in leadership development and training. In 2019, he helped to co-found an LGBTQ+ youth-adult virtual mentoring program, which is how he first intersected with MENTOR, through collaborating with the Mass Mentoring Partnership. He has since volunteered as Program Manager with GSA Link, supporting trusting, affirming, and mutually-positive connections between LGBTQ+ youth and LGBTQ+ adults.

Jake grew up in Massachusetts, and now lives in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Clark University in 2020 with a degree in Psychology and Community, Youth, Education Studies. With passions in youth advocacy, and training and curriculum development, Jake seeks to find innovative and accessible ways to co-create systems of sharing knowledge while building compassionate and equitable community.
