Jonathan Claasen

Jonathan Claasen has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Jonathan started their career with Menzies Aviation in 2008 and held various roles, including Planning Manager and Operations Excellence Manager. Jonathan also worked as the Handling Manager at CPT Airport, where they managed day-to-day activities, ensured compliance with regulations, and implemented quality improvements. Jonathan joined Menzies Distribution in 2015 as a Project Manager before returning to Menzies Aviation in 2016 as the CPT Station Manager. Jonathan currently holds the position of Vice President Operations for South Africa & Namibia. Jonathan also has experience in sales coordination and administrative roles from their time at Parmalat SA.

Jonathan Claasen completed their Senior Certificate at Sarepta Senior Secondary in 1994. Jonathan then pursued a Business Computing Diploma at Damelin from 1995 to 1997. In 2007, they obtained a National Diploma in Management from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Lastly, they obtained an ADM degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the University of the Western Cape between 2014 and 2016.
