Luke Dorman has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design. Luke began their career in 2005 by founding Mission Control Graphic Design, a studio focused on design for the film industry and also organizing the Three Minute Film Fest. In 2010, they worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at American Design Ltd, creating print materials and web designs for art galleries across the Southwest. In 2012, Luke became a Professor of Graphic Design at Santa Fe University of Art and Design, teaching various courses and contributing to curriculum development. Since 2018, they have been associated with Meow Wolf, initially serving as a Lead Designer and then becoming the Principal Graphic Designer. In these roles, they have been responsible for designing exhibitions, special projects, and marketing materials, while also providing leadership, mentorship, and creative strategy.
Luke Dorman earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fine and Studio Arts from the College of Santa Fe, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Following this, they pursued their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Graphic Design at the Vermont College of Fine Arts from 2016 to 2018.
