Timothy Martinez has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Platform Engineering Manager at Meow Wolf since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Account Manager at SADA from August 2022 to November 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Endava from March 2022 to August 2022. From June 2021 to March 2022, Timothy served as a DevOps Engineer II at Meow Wolf. Prior to their time at Meow Wolf, they held various roles at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, starting as an IT Specialist from August 2019 to December 2019 and later becoming a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist from December 2019 to June 2021. Before their work at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Timothy was a Sr. DevOps/Network Engineer at ProSphere from October 2016 to July 2019, a Sr. Network Engineer at NOVA Corporation from April 2016 to October 2016, and a Cyber Transport Systems Journeyman in the United States Air Force from April 2010 to April 2016.

Timothy Martinez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Computer Science with a focus on Networking and Security at Park University from 2011 to 2019. Timothy then pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems and Business Analytics at the same institution from 2019 to 2023.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Timothy obtained several certifications. In 2015, they achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification. Timothy further expanded their skills and knowledge by obtaining the Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) certification in 2018.

In 2020, Timothy earned the Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google and completed the Understanding Design for Cisco Internetworking Solutions course from Cisco. In the same year, they also obtained the Docker Essentials: A Developer Introduction certification from IBM.

In 2022, Timothy added several advanced certifications to their profile. Timothy became an AWS Certified Developer - Associate and a AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, both from Amazon Web Services. Timothy also obtained the Professional Data Engineer certification from Google and the Kubernetes & Cloud Native Associate certification from the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF). Furthermore, they completed the Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft.
