Fabrice Mongkhoune

Fabrice Mongkhoune is a Senior Software Engineer at Mercari, Inc. since September 2022. Previously, Fabrice served as a Full-Stack Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager at Rakuten from February 2016 to September 2022, where responsibilities included building large-scale, fault-resilient APIs primarily on Microsoft Azure for mobile applications. Prior to Rakuten, Fabrice was the CTO and Lead Developer at AppTurbo, where a team and IT infrastructure were established to support rapid company growth. Additional experience includes software engineering roles at ILObjects, focusing on Android application development in collaboration with AI researchers, and an internship at AsAnAngel, enhancing a Python-based chatterbot parser. Fabrice holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
