Josh Ferdelman

Josh Ferdelman serves as the Program Manager for the Urbanity Project at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University since March 2021, overseeing housing research operations and managing program budgets for national housing initiatives. Ferdelman has a strong background in state outreach, having worked with multiple states to advance regulatory reform and secure key legislative outcomes. Previous experience includes serving as a Legislative Aide in the Ohio House of Representatives, where Ferdelman managed legislative processes, and as a Legislative Fellow with the Ohio Legislative Service Commission. Ferdelman holds a Doctor of Law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical and Ancient Studies from Wright State University.
