Karol Boudreaux is an experienced professional in land and resource governance, currently serving as the Senior Land and Resource Governance Advisor at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) since March 2021. Boudreaux has extensive expertise in international development, having held prominent roles such as Chief Program Officer at Landesa, and Affiliated Senior Research Fellow at the Mercatus Center. Boudreaux co-chaired the SDSN Thematic Network on Good Governance of Extractive and Land Resources and has led initiatives to enhance land tenure and property rights across various international contexts. Boudreaux's educational background includes a JD in International Law from the University of Virginia School of Law, supplemented by graduate studies in history at The University of Georgia and a BA in English Literature from Douglass College, Rutgers University.
