Philip Draper

Philip Draper currently serves as the Senior Governance, Ethics & Compliance Manager and Legal Counsel for the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team since July 2021, previously holding positions as Compliance Manager and Legal Counsel. Prior experience includes roles as Legal Counsel and Legal Compliance Executive at the Football Association of Wales from January 2018 to July 2021 and as a Trainee Solicitor at Loosemores Solicitors, recognized as a "Tier 1" firm for Sport, Media & Entertainment by the Legal 500, between September 2019 and March 2021. Earlier experience encompasses working as a Litigation Paralegal at BDE Law and as a football player at Aberystwyth Town Football Club. Philip Draper holds multiple advanced diplomas in football law from Kadir Has University and UEFA, along with a Legal Practice Course from Cardiff University and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from Aberystwyth University.
