David Black

David Black has extensive experience in technology and product development, spanning multiple leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Senior DevOps & Cloud Engineering at MerchantE since November 2018, David focuses on transitioning to cloud-native infrastructures in a PCI-governed environment. Prior experience includes leading product development at Medicare Pathfinder, Inc. and product and technology initiatives at Hustlebox, as well as innovation management at InterContinental Hotels Group. David's tenure at Apple Inc. included significant contributions to education marketing in Asia and developing software solutions for high-profile clients. David began a career in web development as a co-founder of Webix after earning education in relevant fields from Westminster College and the University of North Texas.
