Albane Ferraris

Albane Ferraris is an accomplished professional in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Head of BPS Business Operations at Merck Group since March 2017. In this role, Albane leads the Biotech Process Science (BPS) group, overseeing more than 150 personnel dedicated to the development and launch of new biological entities. Prior experience at Merck includes positions such as Downstream Process Manufacturing Manager and DSP Technology Innovation Specialist, focusing on purification processes for clinical trial supplies and innovative methodologies. Albane’s background also includes a Master Thesis Project at Lonza, research internships at CNRS and CHU de Grenoble, and managerial experience at Refuge de la Flégère. Educational qualifications include a degree in Biological Engineering from Polytech Marseille and a Master of Science in Structural Biochemistry from Aix-Marseille University.
