Josie Downey

Josie Downey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as the General Manager and Managing Director of Merck Healthcare for Australia and New Zealand, Josie has held several prominent positions, including Executive Director roles at MSD, where responsibilities included APAC Commercial Operations and the Oncology Pan Asia Cluster. Josie's earlier experience includes serving as a Non-Executive Director at Bowgan Minerals Ltd and various marketing and commercial development positions at sanofi-aventis and AstraZeneca. Josie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Technology Sydney and further educational qualifications from The University of Queensland.
