Rainer Walz

Rainer Walz has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and analytical industries. Rainer is currently the Head of Quality Control at Merck Gruppe. Prior to this, they served as the Swiss Site Responsible Person at BakerHicks and as the Chief Quality Officer at Disch AG. Rainer also held the position of Head of Quality Assurance at Axapharm AG and Leitung Qualitätsmanagement at Disch AG. Before that, they worked at UFAG Laboratorien AG as the Fachtechnisch verantwortliche Person and Bereichsleiter Analytik. Rainer began their career at Sigma-Aldrich as a Senior Product Manager.

Rainer Walz pursued their education and achieved a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended The University of Freiburg from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Ph.D. (Doktor) in Naturwissenschaften (Natural Sciences).
