Roman Magarychoff has a strong background in IT and technology management. Roman began their career at BBN Corporation and Genuity Inc, where they managed a team responsible for implementing and operating hosting and e-Commerce platforms. Roman also worked as a Senior Consulting Engineer, advising C-level executives on eCommerce solutions.

Magarychoff then joined CSC as an Engineering Program Manager, where they designed and managed data center, network, server, storage, database, and application services for the Managed Hosting Services business unit.

After that, they worked at Harte-Hanks, Inc. as the Director of IT Business Operations, where they managed infrastructure operations of large volume commercial data warehouses and implemented ITIL frameworks.

Magarychoff then moved to EMD Millipore, where they served as the Global Head of Data Center Infrastructure and End User Services. In this role, they oversaw global infrastructure operations and supported a diverse service portfolio.

Roman later joined Merck Group, taking various leadership roles. Roman served as the Head of Technology Infrastructure and Operations, where they consolidated infrastructure services after Merck's acquisition of Millipore. Roman was then promoted to the Global Head of Service Centers, expanding core infrastructure services globally. Finally, they became the Head of Technology Portfolio, Program Management Office, and Cost Management, where they partnered with Merck Sector CIOs to plan and prioritize technology implementations.

Magarychoff has additional experience as a Network Manager and Software Engineer and holds certifications in Six Sigma and CISSP.

Roman Magarychoff earned an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Vladimir State University in 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, completing their studies in 1997.
