Ed Fitzgerald has extensive experience in engineering leadership within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Animal Health Engineering at Merck, Ed Fitzgerald has previously held significant positions such as Vice President and Head of Global Engineering at BeiGene, Senior Director at Bristol Myers Squibb, and Vice President, General Manager, and Site Head at Xellia Pharmaceuticals. Ed Fitzgerald’s engineering career began at Genentech as Director of Engineering. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
