Jeffrey Schubert

Jeffrey Schubert is a highly experienced chemist with a strong background in pharmaceutical science, currently serving as Principal Scientist at Merck since June 2023, where support for peptide-based and small molecule discovery projects is provided, emphasizing DEL, mRNA, and phage display technologies. Previously, Schubert held positions as Sr. Scientist and Associate Principal Scientist at Merck from August 2008 to January 2019, focusing on medicinal chemistry for infectious disease and neuroscience targets, and developing a high-throughput synthesis platform for direct-to-biology experiments. Schubert began their career in the parallel medicinal chemistry group at Merck as a Scientist, acting as a single point of contact for early-stage projects.
