Lauren Cordova

Lauren Cordova is a Senior Scientist at Merck since June 2023, following a role as Immerse Delaware Lab Director from August 2020 to June 2023 at the University of Delaware, managing operations for a collaboration focused on biopharmaceutical innovation. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher position at the University of Delaware, where research centered on biopharmaceutical upstream cell culture and cell line stability prediction, funded by the Advanced Mammalian Biomanufacturing Innovation Center. Lauren completed a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and has an extensive research background in metabolic engineering for biofuels and alternative carbon utilization. Additional experience includes a summer internship at DuPont focusing on Life Cycle Analysis and tutoring undergraduate students in various science subjects.
