Marian Phelan

Marian Phelan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations and supply chain management, currently serving as the Executive Director of Operations at Merck since July 2018. Prior to this role, Marian held various positions at MSD Ireland (Carlow) from May 2009 to August 2022, including Director of Supply Chain Management and SAP/MES/Material Management Lead. Marian’s career in the industry began at Wyeth, where positions included MES Project Manager and MES Lead from August 1998 to May 2009. Marian holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Immunology from University College Cork, completed in 1995.
