Qi Gao is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biophysics, analytical chemistry, and biochemistry. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck since April 2017, Qi Gao has previously held the role of Senior Scientist and worked as a Research Assistant at the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center from August 2011 to March 2017. Notable contributions include the development of NMR methodologies for analyzing glycosylated proteins, molecular docking calculations, and identification of glycosylation profiles using LC-MS/MS. Qi Gao's academic background includes a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from The University of Georgia, complemented by a B.S. in Chemistry from Northwest University. Additionally, Qi Gao gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant in Organic Chemistry Laboratory at The University of Georgia.
