Ron Kim serves as Merck's Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President since August 2020, leading initiatives in Generative AI, cloud transformation, enterprise architecture, and data governance for the global company. Prior to this role, Ron was the Private Equity Technology Lead at TPG from 2015 to 2020, overseeing technology in a $120 billion portfolio. Additionally, Ron held the position of Chief Information Officer at McAfee during a critical separation from Intel in 2016-2017. From 2008 to 2015, Ron led digital initiatives as Chief Information Officer for Exelon Utilities, managing technology and operations for a major energy provider. Ron's career began at Accenture, where extensive experience was gained as a Partner and Managing Director in technology consulting. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
