Shasha Li

Shasha Li is a Senior Scientist specializing in Analytical Chemistry at Merck since July 2018. Prior experience includes serving as an Associate Scientist and PostDoc focused on developing novel high-throughput enzyme workflows for on-resin peptide modification, enhancing peptide diversity for drug discovery. Shasha Li previously held the position of Research Scientist at the University of Michigan's Life Sciences Institute from January to June 2018 and was a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor from August 2012 to November 2017, where research centered on the bio-assembly of Hapalindole-type alkaloids from cyanobacteria. Shasha Li also contributed as a Graduate Student Instructor for a Medicinal Chemistry course targeted at PharmD students. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Michigan and both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Peking University.
