Compliance Support Specialist at Mercury

Colton Woods is currently a Compliance Support Specialist at Mercury. Prior to that, they were a Product Support Lead at StreetEasy from June 2021 to March 2022. Before StreetEasy, Colton was with Simple Finance from August 2015 to June 2021 where they were a Team Lead, Customer Operations. In this role, Colton was the point-person for a team of Customer Support agents and provided coaching and guidance to agents to provide exceptional service while navigating difficult contact to drive a positive customer experience, and maintain positive team morale and attitude. Colton also drove policy and process improvements to improve both agent and customer service experience. They identified and proposed solutions to complex problems and workflow gaps within the Salesforce Service Cloud platform to improve agent and customer experience. Additionally, Colton built reports and dashboards within Salesforce to produce eye-catching relevant data used to drive queue management strategy and efficiency. They were also actively involved in UAT and weekly pre-release meetings for updates to our org’s Salesforce platform. Lastly, Colton acted as a dynamic contributor to the department, completing other duties as assigned including risk review of accounts, formal complaint review and responses and card dispute processing and resolution.

Colton Woods has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Communication from Portland State University and a certification from Salesforce in Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA). Colton also has a certification from Trailhead by Salesforce in Trailhead Ranger.

Colton Woods reports to Dana Messmer, Sr Compliance Ops Manager. They work with Kate Murphy - Disputes Lead, Serap Saylak - Compliance Specialist.
