Shane O'Donnell

Shane O’Donnell has been a key member of the Mercury team since 2007. As Group Commercial and Project Controls Director, Shane is essential to Mercury’s efficient and seamless delivery of large-scale projects.

Shane’s role ensures Mercury’s Project Controls function can meet the ever-changing challenges of the construction environment. He leads his team through the development of processes, procedures, and strategic planning, enhancing the commercial controls of the business. Shane maintains close relationships with each client, ensuring key stakeholders are kept up-to-date on all project risks, opportunities and commercial implications associated with projects.

Having started with Mercury as a Quantity Surveyor, moving through to Commercial Director for Critical Data Infrastructure Division, and currently operating as Group Commercial and Project Controls Director, Shane’s trajectory within the company is a testament to his high-level skills and ability to consistently deliver.
