Jim Noone has a diverse range of work experience spanning over five decades. Jim began their career in 1969 as a Copy Editor and Reporter at The Scranton Tribune. Jim then worked as a Copy Editor at The Washington Post before joining National Journal as a Staff Correspondent covering environment and energy. Jim later joined the U.S. Information Agency, where they held various roles, including Writer, Editor, and Foreign Service Information Officer. Jim also worked at ITT Corporation as Manager of Public Affairs before becoming a Principal at Karalekas & Noone. Jim then served as a Senior Vice President at The Washington Group before working as a Consultant at Clark & Weinstock. Their most recent position was as the Managing Director of Mercury. Throughout their career, Jim also served in the U.S. Navy Reserve as a Seaman Recruit - Captain.
Jim Noone attended the University of Scranton from 1962 to 1967, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, graduating with honors (Cum Laude). Jim then pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts degree in U.S. Foreign Relations from the American University School of International Service between 1970 and 1972. Later, they attended the American University Washington College of Law from 1980 to 1984, obtaining a Juris Doctor (JD) degree specializing in Law.
