Stephen Spence

Stephen Spence has extensive work experience in software engineering, particularly in the development and maintenance of embedded software for avionics projects. Stephen started their career at Aversan Inc. in 2005, where they tested and verified embedded DO-178B software for Honeywell Inc.'s commercial and military avionics projects. Stephen also designed and developed automation tools and applications to simplify testing procedures. In 2006, they joined ALT Software as a Lead Software Engineer, where they led a team in porting, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining Honeywell Inc.'s embedded software for AFGS-L hardware units and Barco Inc.'s DU displays. In 2009, they moved to Alpha Embedded as a Software Engineer, responsible for the development and maintenance of Honeywell Inc.'s Primus EPIC: Map and Charts embedded software on Barco Inc.'s DU displays. Currently, they are working at Mercury Systems as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, and their precise start and end dates for this role are not provided.
