German Perez Gaido

German Perez Gaido is an accomplished reservoir engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Reservoir Engineer at Mercury NZ since October 2021, responsibilities include reservoir modeling, monitoring, management, project management, and mentoring. German has held leadership roles such as Director at Good Karma Coffee NZ and Project Manager at Ara Ake, where a world-first pilot project in the electricity market was successfully coordinated. Previous experience includes Senior Engineer at TAG Oil Ltd., Asset Manager at Pan American Energy, and various positions in Canada and Argentina, contributing to project development, production forecasting, and economic valuations. German holds a Master of Energy (First Class Honours) from The University of Auckland, a Petroleum Engineer degree, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.
