John Kennedy

John Kennedy is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrical and control engineering. Currently serving as Hydro Rehab Program Manager at Mercury NZ since June 2022, John previously held the position of National Engineering Manager at Goodman Fielder from August 2013 to August 2022, where John also worked as a Senior Electrical and Automation Engineer. Prior to Goodman Fielder, John was employed at ABB Ltd as a Process Automation Sales Manager and Systems Engineer between October 2007 and August 2013. John began their career at St Regis Paper Company as a Process Control Engineer and worked as an Electrical and Control Engineer at Norske Skog. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Canterbury, completed between 1998 and 2001, and graduated from Fraser High School in 1997.
