Paulo Gottgtroy completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering at Academia da Força Aérea - AFA from 1981 to 1984. Paulo then pursued Post-Graduation in Computer Science at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro from 1986 to 1988. Paulo later enrolled in Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, where they completed a Post-Graduation in Philosophy from 1995 to 1996, followed by a Master's degree in Computer Science from 1998 to 2000. Finally, they obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science from Auckland University of Technology between 2003 and 2006.
