Tilan Fernando

Tilan Fernando is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Reliability Engineer at Mercury NZ since July 2023. Previously, Tilan held various roles at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) starting as a Mechanical Engineer in August 2010 and advancing to Senior Mechanical Engineer, with responsibilities including the rehabilitation of hydropower units and maintenance of gas turbines at Kelanitissa Power Station. Additional experience includes working as a Maintenance Engineer at Ceylon Leather Products (PLC) and as a Production Engineer at Lanka Precision Engineering (Pvt) Ltd. Tilan holds a Master of Engineering in Energy Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Moratuwa. Education was completed at Rahula College, Matara, Sri Lanka.
