Tomas Toomata

Tomas Toomata is an experienced leader in health, safety, and operational management, currently serving as the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Mercury NZ since May 2023. Prior to this role, Tomas held various managerial positions at Rio Tinto from May 2014 to May 2023, including Manager for Reduction Lines and Site Services, as well as multiple health, safety, and environmental partnership roles. Earlier in the career, Tomas was the Site Manager at Veolia Environnement Australia and New Zealand from June 2011 to April 2014.
