Raye McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In August 2022, they became the Director of Events & Outreach at Mercy Community Healthcare. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Assistant at Full Focus for a brief period from February to March 2022. From September 2017 to February 2022, they served as the Coordinator of Special Programs at the Illinois High School Association. Raye also worked as an Athletics Assistant at Battle Ground Academy from August 2015 to September 2017. Before that, they were the Athletic Video Services Coordinator at Belmont University from August 2012 to May 2015. Raye gained valuable experience as a Marketing Intern at D1 Sports Training from January to May 2012. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Assistant at Belmont University Athletics from August 2010 to May 2012. Raye also interned as an Assistant Athletic Director at Franklin High School from August to December 2011 and as an intern at Elite Athletic Events from May to July 2011. Lastly, they worked as a Blue Belle in the Middle Tennessee State University Football Office from August 2009 to June 2010.
Raye McDonald completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism, Spanish, Speech, and Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) between 2006 and 2010. In addition, from 2010 to 2012, Raye furthered their education by earning a Masters of Sport Administration degree in Sports Journalism from Belmont University.
