Leon Arens

Leon Arens has over two decades of experience in the medical field, currently serving as an Application Developer at Mercy Medical Center since November 1998, focusing on the administration and maintenance of the Anesthesia application and assisting with the OpTime application. Prior to this role, Leon worked as a Surgical RN on the Anesthesia Team, where responsibilities included the preparation of anesthesia medications and assisting with patient anesthetic induction. Leon’s career began as a Staff RN on the CVOR Team at Genesis Medical Center, where involvement included circulating and scrubbing for cardiothoracic and vascular surgical cases. Leon holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Mount Mercy University, earned from 1994 to 1998.
