Mindy Kayser has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Mindy most recently worked at Mercy Medical Center as the Vice President of Community/Donor Engagement for the Mercy Foundation. In this role, they were responsible for handling communications and promotions to create awareness and support for the foundation's mission. Prior to that, Mindy worked at Goodwill of the Heartland as the Vice President of Marketing, where they helped advance the social and economic well-being of people with barriers to independence. Mindy has also held positions at The Salvation Army as the Development & Communications Director, RE/MAX (Independence Realty) as a Realtor/Sales Associate, and Kayser Home Improvement & Savoir Flaire Retail Shop & Design Services as a Self-Employed individual, where they were involved in various tasks such as purchasing, accounting, customer relations, scheduling, project management, and retail shop and design services. Additionally, Mindy worked at Operation Threshold as the Resource Development Director, Family Service League as the Resource Development Director, and The University of Northern Iowa as a Graduate Assistant. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in areas such as community engagement, marketing, communications, resource development, and strategic planning.
Mindy Kayser pursued their education at the University of Northern Iowa from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy, specializing in Public/Non-Profit Administration. Prior to that, they attended Drake University from 1991 to 1995, earning a Bachelor's degree. During their time at Drake, they studied various subjects including Journalism, Sociology, Psychology, and Human Aging.
