Fred Hoffman

Fred Hoffman, D.Sc., serves as the Department Chair and Assistant Professor in the Intelligence Studies department at Mercyhurst University since May 2020, and also holds a position as an Assistant Professor of Intelligence Studies at Ridge College of Intelligence Studies and Applied Sciences since August 2019. As co-editor for the International Journal of Patient-Centered Healthcare, Fred Hoffman engages in manuscript recruitment and publication efforts. Fred Hoffman founded Fifth Dimension Solutions LLC in January 2019 to enhance organizational security culture and improve information security. Previous roles include Research Director, Director of Operations, and Senior Project Manager at Cipher Systems LLC, along with teaching positions at The Johns Hopkins University. Fred Hoffman’s extensive background includes a notable career in the U.S. Army as a Foreign Area Officer and Intelligence Operations Specialist, alongside various educational achievements including a Doctor of Science in Information Systems and Communications from Robert Morris University.
