Andrew Trickett has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andrew co-founded Merge in 2014, a company that provides augmented and virtual reality tools for education. Prior to that, they were a member of the Selection Committee at South Texas RCIC in 2013. From 2011 to 2014, Trickett served as the Executive Director of the San Antonio Clean Energy Incubator. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Independent Consultant, helping launch multiple technology companies and serving in senior roles such as CEO and head of Business Development. Andrew co-founded Global Secure Systems in 2002 and served as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development, leading the company to become a dominant market leader in software systems for public health authorities. Trickett also has experience in strategic alliances and business development, having worked as the Director of Alliances and Business Development at Trilogy from 2000 to 2002. Andrew was the Head of the Startup Services Group at Xcelerate in 1999, providing advisory services and making equity investments in startups. Before that, Trickett was a Principal at Mercer Management Consulting, where they worked on large-scale strategic initiatives in the financial services industry. Andrew began their career as a Senior Associate in Investment Banking at Rauscher Pierce Refsnes.
Andrew Trickett obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, which they attended from 1983 to 1987. Andrew further pursued their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from The Wharton School, where they enrolled from 1990 to 1992.
