Dimitra Gkouma

Dimitra Gkouma is a professional photographer with a robust background in photography and retouching. Currently serving as an in-house photographer and retoucher at Meri Meri since January 2022, Dimitra manages all catalog and e-commerce imagery. Previously held the position of Head of Retouching Department at Media Photography Company, overseeing freelance retouchers and enhancing the retouching workflow. Dimitra's freelance experience includes working in both commercial and artistic photography, with a focus on portraiture, as well as assisting prominent photographers on high fashion and catalog shoots. Other roles include managing at Flat White, mentoring at Filmatography, and internships at Tate and The Source Magazine. Dimitra holds a Bachelor's degree in Photography from the University of the Arts London and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology from the National Technical University of Athens.
