Lorraine Ladha

Lorraine Ladha has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Lorraine is currently the Director of Corporate Governance at Meridian Credit Union, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, Lorraine spent over a decade at Green Shield Canada (GSC), where they held multiple roles including Director of Risk, Compliance and Privacy from August 2020 to July 2023, and Director of Board Affairs from May 2010 to August 2020. Lorraine also served as a Director at the Canadian Skin Cancer Foundation in 2013, and as the Director of Regional and Board Affairs at the Ontario Hospital Association from February 2001 to May 2010. Lorraine started their career at the Red Cross Society, where they were the Manager of Homemakers from 1992 to 2001. Lorraine's extensive experience in governance, risk management, compliance, and board affairs make their a valuable asset in their current role at Meridian Credit Union.

Lorraine Ladha completed a Master of Health Science (MHSc) degree in Health Administration from the University of Toronto between 1999 and 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Gerontology from McMaster University from 1987 to 1990.
